Error 403 when submitting comments

    Recently discovered that I’m getting this message for all comment submissions:
    Error 403

    We’re sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for /wp-comments-post.php?for=jetpack on this server.

    You do not have permission to access this server. Data may not be posted from offsite forms.

    –I disabled comments on Jetpack, and now it seems that commenting is back on my site.

    Why would that be, when Jetpack comments worked until two days ago? Is it ok to turn it back on now (or ever)? Anything I should do to prevent this in the future?

    In many cases, this is suggesting your server is blocking our attempt to add the comment to your WordPress install.

    Hi Brandon – thanks for following up. I’ll use the form like you recommended, and appreciate your help in understanding why this happened and what I can do to fix it.
