I have successfully upgraded my site to WordPress 2.7. My last remaining step is to upgrade NextGen from 0.99.1 to 1.0.2.

Given, I already have a /nextgen directory under the old version.

Should I delete/rename the old before upgrading to the new? Or is there something that’s implied in the installation instructions?

    (Just a chicken.)

Crap! All I had to do was wait. The new WordPress alerted me to the upgrade to NextGen and it did it after my OK.

As Emily Litella said way back when, “Nevermind.”

    But thanks for being here.

well, i hope it worked for you.
if you ckcik ”ok” it removes the old one and than……….the new one does not work !!

Been searching and reading for 2 days now !

It’s back to HALF working, frst page of dash board is working

But anything you click on beneat ”gallery” (eg MANAGE) look like this :
    Index of /marsite/wordpress/wp-admin/nextgen-gallery
    Parent Directory
    admin/
    css/
    fonts/
