• Not sure what’s the problem as it works on one of my other sites, but when I include the captcha on my new site I get this here

Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettftext() in /home/thisisfl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/captcha/captcha.php on line 61

Any idea why or how it can be fixed?

    Thanks!

  • imagettftext is part of the GD image functions library, which is not always part of PHP (the code WordPress runs on).

You need to contact your host and ask them to install the PHP GD library. It’s really simple for them to do and is fairly common, so if they give you a hard time about it, I would seriously consider switching to another host.

I’m getting this same message: Call to undefined function imagettftext()

I have the GD image library installed and otherwise working.

Still no captcha with this plugin.
