Hi Snazzy Maps – Congratulations on your excellent work with snazzymaps.com (as individuals and a team) and thank you for this plugin!

Is it possible, through the plugin, to apply Snazzy Maps to an iframe embedded Google Map we might copy/paste into the WordPress Text editor from maps.google.com?

No worries if not! Upon first testing and some further exploring, the Snazzy Maps plugin did not appear to apply the style to the iframe out of the box.

If there is something we can do or documentation to follow to achieve this, that would be great! We are equally happy to explore using a WordPress plugin like WP Google Maps (which we’ve tested and does work with Snazzy Maps – awsome) to present out maps.

Thanks for writing whenever and congratulations again on bringing Snazzy Maps to the world of WordPress in an easy way. 🙂

    Hey!

Sorry for the late reply, we totally forgot to check the support forum here.

Unfortunately we can’t do anything with an embedded iframe. Google doesn’t provide any support for passing styles into the iframe and there is no way to access the map inside.

But like you said, it should work with a wide range of plugins that use the JavaScript API like WP Google Maps

Let me know if you have any other questions. Glad you’re enjoying Snazzy Maps!

It all worked out for project. Used the WP Google Map Plugin and all is working well.

Thanks for writing back, and thanks again for the plugin!
