I’ve been tinkering with this – you can upload replacement images to wp-content/themes/minamaze/images/slideshow
They should be 1500 x 350 (although I don’t know why they need to be that big, they only appear small. The slider images are the same size and can be uploaded to the same place).
I’m trying to figure out where to go to change the “Read More” button and the text that precedes it. Any ideas? This really is a terribly unfriendly theme.
I liked the Read More, but would be nice to know where to change up. I would open up a new case.

Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know. To change the images there’s no need to change the files in the folder directory mentioned /images/slideshow. All you have to do is press Upload at the top of each section in the Homepage (Content) section of the theme options panel. Then you can pick an image from your media library.

Newbie here. I am also looking to change the text “Featured Area 1” to my own text, not a picture. From what I have read, this black box with white text is a photo, so I get that we have to create our own image of the text we want to appear in this box and upload it.
My question is- What is the original font and font size of the words “Featured” “Area” “1”? These words look very clean and I’d like to replicate the look. We changed ours, put in our own words and it looks horrible.
Also, what is the pixel x pixel dimension of that black box? Someone earlier said it was the same size as the photos in the “slider”, but I find that hard to believe (maybe it is, but that seems odd).

Along the same lines, I want to change the font of the title underneath the photos, and I want to change the size of those photos — height only. I am trying to recreate a design I had elsewhere, and this design is closest so far. But so far I can’t find a place to tweak this.
I looked at the Pro version, wondering if this was one of the options, but the details were slim on what more options one is given with the pro, and the sample site is VERY different than the non-pro layout and not what I am looking for. Hope you can help!
you can do anything when you modify the theme files…

you should fix the sizes of all 3 pictures as same. than i suggest use .PNG . i used .jpg and i met problem
jpg’s for fine !!
Just remember that you have to do the patch in this post to prevent images from being cropped.
When changing the image in one of the featured sections it’s defaulting to an older image. Even when I use the upload button, the new image I add isn’t being displayed. I have cleared my cache and tried it on several devices. Can any one help?
