    I did some scouring of this forum and it looks like I may be out of luck but I figured it was worth asking. I have an asset link to an image hosted externally that I wanted to be opened in the lightbox. Code looks like below:

    <a rel="slb" href="https://chart.googleapis.com/chart?cht=qr&chs=300x300&chl=1HoosqwrwGSEgorqnaQarmz5DcUTYWBSJd">

    Am I correct in thinking this plugin won’t be able to handle this sort of implementation?

    Thanks!

    Hi, external images are fully supported by SLB. However, the URI in your link is not a standard image file (e.g. PNG, JPG, GIF, etc.), so it will require an add-on for support.

    I’ve added this to the list of URI types to support in the future.
