no response to support request

Previously I gave good review of this theme and have been using it for a year. However, lately we discovered that the search input window fails to appear in Firefox and Chrome and have written two times in the support forum. Response just from a kind-hearted fellow user. Not the author. It’s been a few weeks now. Quite upset about it. We have searched high and low for the reason and a solution and have found nothing. I think the author should at least respond.

We are stuck with this theme until we can pull together the time and efforts to build a new theme for the live site. This is very depressing.
