RSS: It seems like the pretty permalinks format is unreliable

    An ecwid.com user reports that he gets a feed error for invalid feed template at /feed/products.xml. This situation is somewhat improved by navigating to ?feed=products.xml, although that particular user still gets an error for leading whitespace.

    I’ve also seen this on my test install — it seems like the pretty permalinks version drops out of the rewrite engine somehow.

    or then again maybe not. for now I’m content to have added a link to the ugly permalinks version in the plugin docs.

    I should probably add an option to the widget to use the ugly version as well.
