• Hi.
I am using Theme Karma, with Events Manager. My Events andLocation have been created using Posts, and work, apart from the fact that I need to have the right hand sidebar visible as well.

In Events > Settings > pages >Locations, I selected the Display Location as Right Sidebar.

In the Theme, i have opened up a standard Right Sidebar page and it is as expected. I have them looked code through Web Inspector.

    Its shows :<body class=”page page-id-64 page-template page-template-template_rightsidebar_horizontalnav page-template-template_rightsidebar_horizontalnav-php logged-in admin-bar karma-no-post-date customize-support”>

In Events >< Settings > Page > Locations, I added:
page-template-template_rightsidebar_horizontalnav into the Body Classes field. However, when I save and view, I still dont have the righthand sidebar.

    Can anyone help me please?

    thanks

  • Hi,

Sidebars are displayed according to the settings you have under Appearance > Widgets, rather through CSS classes.

Hi Thanks for your response, I am now confused.

My understanding was that in Events > Settings> Pages >Event Page > Display Event As I had to select a theme template page to use for the Single Event page.

However, when I select a template, in this case Right Sidebar, The event is not being displayed on this template page, and i therefore have no means of selecting a widget to display in the page sidebar.

I have tried to user your USING THEME TEMPLATES FOR EVENT AND LOCATION PAGES document, but with no luck. I am not sure what Body Class to use. I have also tried to create a single-event.php page but I imagine thatI am not editing it correctly.

do you have sample link to your site for us to check? also, did you try the single-event.php template while setting events page to post?
