How does RootsPersona compare to PHPGedView?

    I’ve been using PHPGedView for several years, it’s not the greatest in terms of display, but it works! I’m looking to make the switch because the UI is getting really old and I’m looking for the common platform of WordPress.

    I’m looking for the most important features, listed below:

    1. “Research Assistant” – quick view of immediate family relations
    2. Assigned User Access & User Access Control Levels
    a. Username/Password (crowd source data entry)
    b. Automatically accept changes made by this user
    c. Limit access to related people
    d. Max relationship privacy path length
    3. User Verification
    a. User verified himself
    b. User approved by Admin
    4. Multilingual Support (most important English & Italian)
    5. REPORTS
    a. Close Relatives ReportClose Relatives Report
    b. Descendancy ReportDescendancy Report
    c. Expanded Relatives ReportExpanded Relatives Report
    d. Fact SourcesFact Sources
    e. Individual ReportIndividual Report
    f. Missing relatives factsMissing relatives facts

    phpgedview is outdated and unsafe as it uses an older version of php

    rootspersona is nothing like it. there’s a demo on rootspersona.com that should give you a better idea.
    some things you mentioned are way outside the scope of the plugin but could be done with other plugins

    you might try searching for phpgedview fork or successor

    I would love if rootpersona took care of part of these items. Perhaps this is a good request list for ed4becky on new features/functionality.

    It’s what I used to use but I’m running wp as multisite now and it won’t work for me.
