    Hi Ben!

My problem is a little difficult to explain, but I’ll try.

I’m having trouble getting the footer widget to work properly. I can get it to output simple stuff like ‘latest posts’-widget or ‘meta’-widget, but more complex stuff (like my ‘Royal Slider’-widget) fails. I constantly get a long row of the slider-images, instead of having the images inside the slider.

I can get the slider to work in a page or in a post, but not in the footer. It seems like some function is missing somewhere, but what?

Is the footer supposed to work with any kind of widget? Because in that case, there might be something wrong with my installation.

Hope you can help guide me to a solution 🙂

    Thanks for using Tracks!

The footer should support all widgets, but it sounds like the styling of the Royal Slider is conflicting with the way the widgets are styled.

The easiest solution would be to try a different slider plugin. The Meta Slider plugin is very good.

If you have the same problem with the Meta Slider plugin, or if you don’t want to change plugins, could you share a link to your site? I’ll need to check it out to debug the issue.

    Thanks!

Well, I’m embarrassed. All I had to do was go to Royal Slider settings and check the option to preload CSS and Javascript on ALL pages.

Sorry for wasting your time, but at least you made me troubleshoot a little deeper.

Thanks for an amazing theme! 😉
