    Hello,

I’m trying to get my cart to work with a combination of virtual products (w no shipping charge) with real products that need to charge for shipping and are calculated via a Fedex extension.

Can your plugin calculate free shipping for one product while charging for others in the same cart?

Right now it looks like if the ‘free shipping’ product is added, then the entire cart can get free shipping.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

You are correct about the entire order being free, this plugin only allows free shipping for the entire order.

It cannot work together with the Fedex plugin unfortunately, so that a no go.

But I can give you some advise, though not 100% familiar with the Fedex plugin. If you mark the checkbox ‘virtual’ for your products it shouldn’t calculate any shipping costs for that product with the default carrier plugin. In addition you can also set weight/size etc to 0 (note sure if this carrier plugin does it by weight/size, some do).

    I hope that helps!

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

Actually you can use this plugin and fedex now. This plugin separates the shipping methods for you in checkout! https://wordpress.org/plugins/multiple-packages-for-woocommerce/
