Good day. I am trying to get the wordpress navbar to extend fully across the page. I thought i could just wrap the wp nav into another div element(or the php code that outputs it) and go from there. However I cannot locate the specific code the outputs the nav the wrap it.

If one could tell me what code diplays the navbar and weather or not wrapping it in a div and styling it would work and whether or not I am going about this right.
    (using latest woocommerce storefront)

    Namaste

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/storefront so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

I had no idea that page existed, thats gonna be realy usefull, Thanks!. I think this is more of a generic wordpress issues though.

I found that by that by creating a new navigation via admin generates a simple nav element that you can style easily. However the parents of the nav element is what restricted the width. I think i’m gonna just have to continue to learn a lot more about wordpress functions and general functionality to solve most of my generic problems.

Some themes provide a lot of control over the page elements, others don’t. So it’s hard for someone to know what a theme is capable of if they don’t have any experience using it. You didn’t provide a URL to your site, so unless we were familiar with the StoreFront theme, we’d just be guessing on how to fix your problem.

I see, i’ll take that into consideration when asking questions in the future
