Compatibility with WooCommerce

    Hi,

    As you know I love this plugin, but I have come across one small problem with its compatibility with WooCommerce.

    WooCommerce has an included ‘shop’ page which automatically lists all product categories (top and sub). At present, with the plugin I am unable to hide an advert or ad group on this ‘special’ WooCommerce specific page, even when I choose ‘Shop’ from the hide on this page option.

    We use Widget Logic, and this too suffered from the same incompatibility… e.g. !is_page('shop') does not work but I discovered that WooCommerce has it’s own conditions and !is_shop('') does work.

    Using Widget Logic is currently how I hide adverts from the sidebar on the shop page but if it could be done by using your plugin feature ‘hide from page’ then that would be ace!

    WooCommerce also has a bunch of other pages specific to it (such as cart, accounts, etc.) so I am wondering if perhaps the same problem will occur when trying to hide adverts on these pages. I have not checked yet!

    That’s great – no rush. Using Widget Logic solves the problem for us. It’s more the fact that I thought it should be something you might want to be aware of in case others have a similar question.
