Error 404

    Hello there!
    I have come across the problem of not finding the following files (fancybox/fancy_shadow_e.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_n.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_ne.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_nw.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_s.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_se.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_sw.png
    fancybox/fancy_shadow_w.png) while using Fancybox 3.0.5. Now I have updated the plugin to 3.0.6 but it still continues. I have a lot of 404 Errors on my blog. I hope somebody will help!

    Same here. This is somewhat important because it fills up the logs of various plugins (iThemes security, redirection, et al).

    A Google search reveals that others have this problem too.

    Supposedly the culprit is this Fancybox code:

    /* IE6 */

.fancybox-ie6 #fancybox-close { background: transparent; filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='fancybox/fancy_close.png', sizingMethod='scale'); }

    There are many such lines and I’m hesitant to patch/delete all of them without understanding all the implications, and would also prefer the developer take care of this…

    Unfortunately, the developer doesn’t care… So I decide to get rid of Fancybox plugin. But if it starts working properly, I will take it back.
