Renaming URL

Hi Team,

I am having a stupid question related to URL text/words.

Here is URL ,http://www.superwomanindia.com/?cat=5
If you clock or open this, it will open ‘Clothing’ category/tab of my website.

I want this URL like ‘http://www.superwomanindia.com/clothing’. I dont want to have ‘?cat=5’ thing. My all categories, page, menu and post are working in same way. I want all these to be fixed.

Can you please help me how I can do this.
Also please suggest me the pros/cons of moving to new plan.
