Add a button to the post page that auto-writes some code

Hey I’ve been trying to search but can’t really come up with some guide. I wanted to know if it’s possible and how to add a custom buttom to the Post page where it will automactly write some text/code. Something similar like a “macro”. Is there any way to do this?
