  • Hi Brandon –

Thanks for letting us know. It’s a known issue right now that some of our users with larger databases are experiencing slow ajax calls. I’ve actually spent a considerable amount of time trying to optimize WordPress’s ajax layer to speed up the calls to the database but didn’t have much success. To be transparent, we’re running into a lot of other issues besides this one with trying to use the native WordPress MySQL database as our storage layer for Leadin and we’re working hard on some new code to permanently fix this issue. It’s our goal to give our users the best possible product without having any performance impact on your WordPress installation. If you subscribe to our user updates newsletter you’ll be notified as we make progress.

Sorry I don’t have a solution for you at the moment and we hope to have some news on this front soon.

    Hi Andy,

First of all, thank you for the plugin! Its doing a great job!

I encounter the same experience too as Brandon. With high volume of traffic and due to the admin-ajax.php being a POST, cache is skipped (We are using managed WordPress hosting). And those requests buildup the php workers and max out our CPU. But it’s fine when you only have normal incoming traffic.

I hope you guys find a solution soon! This plugin rocks. Thanks!
