    In order to make my website multilingual I changed it from stand-alone to a WordPress network (multisite) installation.

    In the original website I used MaxButtons as the plugin to make and use buttons, which works wonderful.

    After changing my website to a network installation consisting out of 2 websites, the original website still works nicely with MaxButtons but my second (other language) website shows the menu for buttons correct but adding a button does not work.

    Does anyone knows how to fix this?

    Hi,

    Thanks for letting us know. Which multilingual plugin are you using? Also could you let me know how you setup the multisite ( i.e. directory based, subdomain based etc ).

    We have set up a new directory based WP multisite. The MaxButton plugin is activated for all sites. I have first build the German site. Then I added the Engish site and wanted to use the buttons in a Revelution Slider – which works fine on the German site. Being in the BO for the English site I have the Button option in the menu and can build a button, yet the button will not save!

    I’ve tested it with my WPMU installation and I see nothing out of the ordinary, even when the two sites are running on different languages.

    While we officially don’t support WPMU I’m prepared to take a quick look and maybe I can see something going on. For that could you email me temporary login ( as an administrator ) to your website at support [at] maxfoundry . com ?

    I took a quick look at your site and indeed it was not working on the second site when saving. I deactivated the plugin and did a activate again and it seems to be working right now. These problems can be caused if the database table is not being created on all installations and can happen every now and then.

    Solutions are to de-activate en re-activate or to activate the plugin on the seperate sites first and then perform network activate (optionally).

    I deactivated the plugin, deleted it from my plugin-list (just to be sure..), re-installed it as a plugin and “network-activate” it. Now it works properly. Thanks for your help, kind regards, Huib
