How long does it take to review a submitted theme?

    Hello everyone!

    I submitted a theme into theme directory 5 weeks ago: here it is.

    2 weeks ago finally a reviewer started to review it, however I haven’t heard anything from him since then. He didn’t even reply to my question. At least a feedback would be great, like “hello, I’m reviewing your theme. You will have to wait a month for the first feedback”..

    Is this normal? How long does it take usually?

    That really depends on how complex your theme is and how much time the reviewer has. Theme reviews, much like forum support is all volunteer. Admins try their best to keep the queues down but because of the volume of entries it can take some time to go through each assigned theme.

    It has been a little harder to keep track since there was a slight debacle a while back so we’re trying to get some ( 30 or so themes ) reassigned. Don’t think we’ve forgotten about yours.

    Believe me I know what you mean! All things take time and sometimes life happens. I will say though, you can take a look at the list of requirements to get a better idea of what we look for and what is not allowed.
