• *EDITED*
At first I had some problems with support but that was due to the dev being very busy trying to remove all aspects of TimThumb from the plugin, which is very much in the interests of users. Once I got in contact I fixed a few problems I was having which were mostly of my own making -make sure you don’t have multiple map plugins running…

It could do with slightly clearer guides on use (when compared to something like Mapbox which has about the clearest guide I have seen for an online mapping tool) but if you want to use Google Maps inside a WordPress CMS, this currently looks like the best bet.

    HI DWyatt

Apologies for the lack of support. I have been hard at work coming up with a solution to remove timthumb from the plugin which I actually released yesterday. This was a critical item on the list, and while focusing doing that, I created a backlog of support. I am focusing on clearing the backlog this weekend.

With regards to your bug with the polygons, I am addressing that issue in the next version as well which should be by Monday.

I apologise for all the hassle. I’ll make sure this gets sorted

No worries. For the record Nick has since been of great help and my problems are fixed -it was likely due to a clash between this and another map plugin I had loaded. I can’t amend my review unfortunately but if you read this, I would tentatively switch my recommendation back to positive.
