Hi Sunil, do you have a cache plugin installed?
If you do have you configured your cache plugin not to cache logged in users? Have you also configured your cache not to cache this plugins shopping cart page?
No, I am not using any cache plugin.
Can you clear the browser cache and try again the same as you did above? I suspect this to be a cache issue either from your browser or maybe even your theme if it has cache capabilities.
Hello mbrsolution,
Thanks for your prompt replies. But I have installed this plugin in a new fresh wordpress. Then check the cart process. It is not working there as well.
It is just checking the browser closing or not, wheather any user logged in or logout from the site. If the browser will not close then continuously products are adding to it.
Another issue is with the paypal response, always the cart order goes to trash. When I restore it and then click on edit, I found all the fields are blank.
I want to purchase its paid version, but it seems difficult for me because WP eStore is not having any refund policy.
Thanks
Sunil
Hi Sunil have you tried to disable all other plugins except this one and carried out a test? If that does not work have you tried testing one of WordPress default themes?
In regards to the following question.
Another issue is with the paypal response, always the cart order goes to trash. When I restore it and then click on edit, I found all the fields are blank.
Check the following URL for solutions. Focus on Step 17.
Yes, Actually in my above comment I have mentioned “But I have installed this plugin in a new fresh wordpress.”
It means I have tested it with default wordpress with default theme “twentyfifteen” installed.
Still same results. Hard time with this plugin.
I have already checked the point number 17 in that link and i think in my case the reason is :
17-2) The user made the payment but the plugin didn’t receive notification from PayPal
But how to track whether we are receiving notifications from paypal or not. Where we are checking paypal response in our plugin files. Please elaborate, may be I will find the solution.
Anyways, thanks for your help and prompt response.
Recently find the https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nothing-showing-in-cart-order?replies=16,
In this Can Oezbay has solved the same issue. And plugin author is talking about IPN feature is disabled on paypal account. I have gone though the video provided by him.
And when I am putting home page URL of the website there, paypal is showing this message :
The domain name you have entered is not a valid IPN URL. Please enter the URL where you have installed your IPN script.
Please help.
Have you checked to make sure the URL you entered in the IPN settings is correct?
Actually I was checking this all on my localhost…but now I have shifted it to my server.
Now the warning message is not showing and paypal has accepted the URL.
But my issue still remains..still the cart orders are going into trash.
Thanks for your help, but still need any other clue.
You might have to check with PayPal about this issue?
Hell There,
Will you please help me to find the plugin file which is checking whether the paypal response coming or not because when I go to paypal I found the payment status is “completed”.
What other setting I need to check there.
Thanks in advance
Will you please tell me about the url which we are placing in paypal IPN settings. I have put the URL of thanks page of my website. Is there need to put the home page URl in spite of it.
Hi, did you follow the instructions in Reply 8 above? Did you also check to make sure that the URL is correct since you now have moved to a live server?
The above questions is in accordance to the following error you typed above.
The domain name you have entered is not a valid IPN URL. Please enter the URL where you have installed your IPN script.
yes, just check reply 10…I have written paypal has accepted the URL. So, the URL is correct.
Correct means paypal accepted it but I want to know that where is our IPN listner in our plugin code.
We need to pass the URL of the page where we have IPN listner and how to check the paypal is giving us any response or not.
Once IPN is set up correctly, which you have stated above that it is. Then all you have to do is manage the settings in the plugin. You can add your return URL in the plugin. PayPal will return your buyers to the URL you add in the plugin. Also if you orders are receiving in the payment then you know that it is working.
