Hi Michael, something in your page content is corrupting the first player. Do you use any kind of auto inserted content in your pages? Please check that one in your editor to make sure the shortcode looks in order.
Hello Simon,
Thanks for checking it out. I am sorry but I don’t know what I am looking for, any direction would be helpful. Not sure why it stopped working rather randomly since updates.
OK, so I deleted the player that was first on the page, and now the single players at least try to connect. They still down work though. I also deactivated most plugins thinking there might be something there and no improvement.
I noticed in the mp3j player settings, under folder, which has been “/mp3”, it has this message under it now:
“Unable to read or locate the folder /mp3 check the path and folder permissions”
This is perplexing since that has been he folder all along. I need to get this fixed, losing potential clients.
Hi Michael, sorry you’re still getting issues. If you can send me a login to your site via my email (I’m sure we spoke before over email, or contact me via my site) I’ll take a look at waht’s going on.
update: It was another plugin or theme element messing with the js.
Hi, Simon.
Hit the same problem after plugins upgrate today. MP3 player asked for update today (and few others, I don’t remember the names) now player stopped working.
Following plugins are active (maybe they conflict?):
– Akismet
– Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
– CloudFlare
– Contact Form 7
– Custom 404 Pro
– HC Custom WP-Admin URL
– MNKY | Theme Core Extend
– MP3-jPlayer
– Remove query strings from static resources
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
– WPBakery Visual Composer
– WP Google Analytics Events
– WP Super Cache
– Yoast SEO
Is it a known issue? Any advise?
Thanks in advance!
Confirm you don’t have Jetpack enabled, Jetpack is currently conflicting with the plugin. I have the same issue on my site with MP3 J Player Widget, i hope to resolve it soon.
