We could do this. I don’t see a spec for ‘job listings’ using Google Rich Snippets though – any ideas?
Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.
I think you could use these for the Job Board: http://schema.org/JobPosting
Also, do you know why Google wouldn’t be able to crawl the Jobs in the Job Board list? Is it because it’s generated by Ajax?
Thanks!

Yes, that would be the case – use an XML sitemap plugin so that Google can index your single job listings (which have more SEO value than the list).
Thanks Mike – so should I keep an eye out for a new update for the Job Board plugin? How long do you think this may take?
Thanks!
My schedule is pretty tight at the moment, but I’ll try to look at it within the next week or so. Unless someone contributes it before then.
Ok, sounds good!
Thank you 🙂
Just realised, we already have the schema.org markup 😀
Ha! That’s true, on the individual jobs pages. What about the listings? Would that be plausible and effective to markup the listings with schema?
Thanks Mike!
Probably not worth it seeing as they are loaded in via ajax, so search engines won’t look at them anyway. What do you think?
I found this article about how to make Ajax crawlable:
https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/
I’m not sure what process you would use for the JBM plugin, but since it seems to be possible, might be worth looking into. What do you think?
Thanks!
