• Hello!
I have just installed multisite using sub directories on my WordPress account. Everything is working fine, I have even installed a few different themes. I know how to enable and disable the themes for each directory, but where do you go to edit the page itself?
I am wanting each directory to have a different look.

  • “each directory to have a different look.”

If you edit the one theme directly with the theme editor, you’ll not achieve this. The edits to one theme affect the theme everywhere it is active.

    I’ll offer a couple alternatives:

    1. JetPack has an Custom CSS plugin that will allow a different CSS variations of the same theme to work on separate sites. No php/html editing, but it may be what you are after.

    2. Edit multiple child themes of a parent theme. Activate each unique child theme unique to each site. You can then edit each child theme with the theme editor without worry of affecting the parent theme.
