Upgrade to 4.1.1 broke my site

    I did the automatic update which failed with an obscure error (details in another post).
    I then did the manual upgrade which I have to do every time except this time the whole site broke. I could not login via the web interface, I had to unpack the backup I had done just before the upgrade and FTP it backup.
    It is up and running now but from this forum it would seem that the update breaks a few sites.

    When updates break things it’s usually because of a plugin or theme compatibility issue. The theme you are using is a commercial theme and I would suggest contacting the author over at Themeforest about this issue. The author claims full compatibility with WordPress 4.1 since version 2.2.1 (of your theme). You will need to update your theme since you are currently only running version 2.2 (of your theme).

    what Kind of issue you are facing?
    If a blank page you are showing??

    i had the same issue with this, but i am getting over it before few minutes

    DO it May be it will Help you,

    1. go to your themes in appearance Tap
    2. Then activate new theme and
    3. then you see a msg on top “New Theme Activated. Visit Site
    4. click visit site and again go to your previous theme and activate it.

    may be it will help you to get over it.
