I see some results printed out in the response, but not in json format.

Have you added any lines there? There should not be anything else.

No lines added except the solution you provided here at this URL Below

Would you Need FTP Access as you previously did to fix this and test some other stuff too ? Let me know.

Also, in your reply, please let us know how can we check error logs as whenever i check it, there’s nothing reported about this issue or any other ( Just to test, I tried accessing search content class direct and 1 error did pop up in the error_log file though).

Further to above, it seems if you enter any xyz search, it shows no results found. However, when you enter characters for something that is present, it does’nt show results.

Yes, ftp access would be nice. You can use the address I provided on the previous topic 🙂

Yes, ftp access would be nice.

Please don’t do that: when you offer to get admin access and/or FTP access then you’re really going too far and that’s not cool.

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

If you are given admin credentials, you are potentially liable for any potential damage that maybe caused, not only by yourself but anyone accessing the system. Even if you do not provide warranty with your own product.

Unless you’re willing to take responsibility for that user’s installation from now on (and they should NOT let you do that) then please do not ask or suggest that someone provide you those admin or FTP details.

You can provide assistance here, ask for log data, you can make recommendations and even suggest changes. But do not seek admin or FTP access. That’s just going too far.

Thank you very much Marius, I didn’t know that. I was used to the premium plugin support, where this is a common practice.

In that case, may I ask for a copy of your modified wp-content/plugins/ajax-search-pro/includes/search_content.class.php file? pastebin.com is a good service to copy/paste source code.
I hope this is not against the rules…

That’s absolutely fine to ask for code via pastebin, or even directly in the forums if it’s small snippets. Thanks for helping!
