• Hi all!

    Good to see that the old qtranslate plugin is under constant development. Sadly I get a Fatal Error with the new qtranslate-X plugin so I had to switch back to the old one.

    Does somebody has an idea what could cause this error ?

    somehow I need to change this : <?php echo qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode(‘dropdown’); ?>

    Thanks in advance for hints…

    cheers

    @rangitoto,

    when installed qTranslate X is it possible to turn “Compatibility Functions” on or do you get a Fatal error by activating the plugin?

    Hello Gunu

    Thank you very much for your answers! Much appreciated!

    After activation I get a Fatal Error, but only in the Frontend.

    Then I changed as suggested from you to : <?php echo qtranxf_generateLanguageSelectCode(‘dropdown’); ?>

    This already solved the problem. To be sure in future I also activated the compatibility mode.

    Problem solved, thank you! Plugin now 5-star! 😉

    cheers
