  • The current version only allows one sticky element. Having more than one may clutter up your page and confuse the user (imagine having a menu stuck at the top, and a banner stuck on the left, and another thing on the right, etc.), although I do recognize the need for multiple sticky elements in some cases.

Having said that, even though it’s not available in the current version, this functionality may be added to a future version.

    Hi Mark,
First off, thanks for your work on this plugin -it’s great!
I’d just like to add that I’d like to be able to make more than one element sticky as well. Where you give an example beside the “Sticky Element*” field in your plugin it reads: “(e.g. #main-navigation, .main-menu-1, header nav, etc.)” so I though you’d be able to spec more than one.
For example, I’d like to make both the header and navbar sticky.
    Cheers Ron

Thank you for your answer Mark.
ronstallmach, for making sticky the navbar and the header, put them togethe in the same div and give that div a class, then you put sticky that class you gave to the div that contains the header and the navbar.

Thanks @mihai03 — that’s indeed the best solution for @ronstallmach’s issue.

If you want more than one item sticky but they’re in the same area, then it’s best to just make the element sticky that contains both the header AND the navbar. If you’re willing to share a link to your site maybe it will be easier to explain.

It’s a different thing when you want two items that’s completely different (for example, a header, and a sidebar widget).
