Mixed Messages

I just updated MP and although i haven’t even played with it much, it looks like a brilliant plugin.

However, i would advise against showing this irksome message:

“You’ve updated to MailPoet 2.6.15
You updated! It’s like having the next gadget, but better.”
and then…
“Hey! Your site is running an old software!”

Wow that’s a slap in the face!

Having just updated it’s strange to see that i’m running old software and not knowing what that software might be as i’m using the next gadget, but better.

Why not just say that PHP 5.3 is needed for future updates to the plugin? Not only that, moving to more recent PHP seems like a difficult step for a lot of Hosts.
