• Hi, I updated my site last night to 4.1.1. and my site now isn’t working and i cant access my wp-admin as it times out. I am not particularly techy but when I check my ftp it says :

    /21 07:34:16] [mwreuqhr] [ FOUND ] Found installation at ‘/home/linweb33/k/kidsgiftsandtoys.com-1077090960/user/htdocs/’ [Wordpress::4.1.1]
    [linweb33] [2015/02/21 07:34:16] [mwreuqhr] [ WARNING ] Detected ‘WordPress’ version of ‘4.1.1’ does not match the current listed stable version of ‘4.1’. Consider updating.

    How do I go about reverting back to 4.1 ? I have no online back up but all my back up is on ms – word due to major issues with my site hacked last year. Please help! Thank you!

  • Have you tried disabling all plugins?
    You can disable plugins by temporarily renaming the “plugins” under wp-content to something else.

    Thanks Rajesh. I have tried doing what you have asked on my FTP and now I am getting:

    “Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

    My service provider said it may be due to scripts – running too long but I thought it was the upgrade to 4.1.1. as it has coincided with that update I did last night. How do I get rid of long running scripts on the back end if that is the problem?

    Sorry and to clarify I am getting the internal server error on my wp-admin page and the 504 Gateway on my website.

    Your page still does NOT load here.

    What do you see: http://www.kidsgiftsandtoys.com/wp-login.php

    After not loading I get the 500 internal server error for wp-admin page.
