    Hello:

Is there a way to stop My Calendar from adding new mc-event type rows to the WordPress posts database table each time a new event is added to the calendar?

These entries started appearing several months ago, presumably to support the “option to post new events as blog posts” planned for version 2.4.0.

    Thank you!

No, that’s not an option. My Calendar uses the post table to manage custom data already, so several fields in the admin already depend on the post references. Most data will be migrated to the post table in 2.4.0.

This is not related to the future option to post new events as blog posts; that’s completely separate.

Ok, understood. Thanks for the quick reply!
