    Hello,

I’ve runied the side php of my twenty fifteen theme (I might have accidently knocked something off the end of it, but pasting, then deleting some code at its end the other day).
The twenty fourteen works fine, displaying my content when I change themes in the dashboard. Otherwise, only the header shows (see tingleypeppermintpot.com)

It has been recommended I re-upload the side php, via ftp, but the file there (on the right) has been updated by the changes I made when I cut and pasted the text, so I’m unsure if this would work.

Can I not uninstall, then reinstall the theme in the dashboard? If so how please?

    – goto ‘appearance – themes’
    – switch to a different theme
    – click on ‘Theme Details’ of the Twenty Fifteen theme
    – click ‘delete’ in the left bottom corner; click ‘ok’
    – click ‘add new’ near the top …

    Hello,

    Thanks for that!
Also, are people still making child themes please (it looks like the process has become more complicated)

    Diane
