• Hi Guys,
I have a website and since the visitor number increased the site getting “Fatal error…” messages, like:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 38273024) (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/lili1883/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/shortcodes/shortcodes.php on line 457

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 19922944) (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/lili1883/public_html/wp-includes/class-http.php on line 1456

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 56885248) (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/lili1883/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/inc/woocommerce-shipping-zones.php on line 230

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 73924608) (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/lili1883/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/classes/class-controller.php on line 87

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 78905344) (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/lili1883/public_html/wp-content/themes/oxygen/inc/lib/visual-composer/laborator-shortcodes/laborator_lookbook.php on line 128

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 61603840) (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/lili1883/public_html/wp-content/themes/oxygen/inc/lib/smof/functions/functions.options.php on line 873

I am not sure what causes this and the biggest problem is no one knows. The original theme developer suggested to contact the host, the host suggested contact the developer. The memory limit is now increased to 512 MB. We are not doing anythign particular on the site, it’s a simple Woocommerce webshop with several plugins, with 20 products and now hundreds of visitors per day.

I have no idea what to do but the error is keep coming back and now I think I should change the whole platfrom… Any idea guys?
    Thanks
    Marou

Where is your site hosted, and what level/plan do you have with them?

“Hundreds” of visitors making purchases might be more than a cheap shared hosting account can handle… Your clue might be that the problem started occurring when your traffic went up.

Bet, my site hosted by Netregistry, Cpanel Premium

So what are you suggesting, should I migrate my site to somewhere else?

Just wanted to make sure you weren’t on the cheapest level of shared hosting. Looks like that package probably offers a decent amount of bandwidth.

Have you tried looking at your error logs to see if you have a plugin or script that is eating up memory that it shouldn’t be? Your hosting company might be able to help you find it and read it.

Hosting company says go to the developer, developer says go to the hosting company… Just checked the error log in Cpanel, empty.

Are you getting those fatal error messages all the time, or only some of the time?

Have you tried temporarily disabling all plugins to test and see if that makes the error go away? If it does, then reactivate them one by one to find the one causing the error.
