  • Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Yes on the deactivating all plugins, no on the switching themes. I was worried I might lose something in the process. Could I lose anything when switching?

    Not if you have a good theme. It is all in the database.

    Ok, when switching to twentyfifteen, I am able to see the content. I didn’t change anything at all with the theme. One minute I’m adding content and seeing it, the next it’s not there. So the problem is with my theme… any ideas now?

    Contact the developer of the theme. We can help with custom or commercial themes here.

    The developer of the theme is sort of a lost cause. I’m just the guy who was called in to pick up the pieces and I’m not great even at that… know of any freelancers interested in some work???
