• After the last update my whole site was not visable anymore in Windows. Apple and Android didn’t give any problem but in Windows nothing was visable: complete white site. I reinstalled the backup of my site and the problem was solved. My advise: do not update this plugin before you make a proper backup. In fact: I wouldn’t update at all.

  • I’d suggest asking the JetPack support team for help with a problem like this before posting a negative review – they are EXCELLENT with helping users to solve problems.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into issues.

Could you check your server error logs around the time when you experienced the issue, to find out more about that “white screen of death” you experienced?

If you don’t know how to access your server error logs, your hosting provider should be able to help.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi WPyogi,
You are right, and my apologies for the instinctive reaction I gave on the issue I ran into. My reaction was not fair to the great work the JetPack team realised. I will investigate the issue with Jeremy.

    Thanks for your comment.

I have also had this issue on two of my sites.

Upon installation and then validating the connection to my WordPress.com account, I now receive the following error at
wp-admin (and can no longer access my dashboard!)
    ——
    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, cgiadmin@yourhostingaccount.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

On my other site, I called into my hosting company, did they something on their end to at least allow me back into my WP-admin dashboard, but like the others are saying, this site now simply shows a blank homepage (Site down).

@thetwistedvegan Could you ask your hosting provider too look at your site error logs, as I suggested above?

    Thanks!
