Real Estate Ad-Portal

I would like to make a real estate board.
The functions this portal would have to have are:
– it should be able to display real estates, and the end-user should be able to search through the published ads, and filter the results.
– end-user should be able to make its own profile, in order to post an ad.
– when the end user posts an ad, then he/she would have to pay for advertisement.

My questions are:
– is wordpress the right tool for the project I am planning to make?
– If yes, are there any suitable themes and plugins for this purpose?
– If yes, which are those?
– Did anybody made it. If yes, I’d appreciate any useful advice.
