Linking thumbnail pictures to specific posts

Hi,
I am trying to make a page that ‘summarizes’ all my posts in a particular category, display in thumbnail pictures. When a user clicks on any of the thumbnail pictures, he will be directed to the blog post. Each of my blog posts is always accompanied with a relevant picture.

I’ve tried to modify and playing around with the scripts but to no avail. Could someone advice me as to how to go about doing it ?
