I’m also getting this message! Love the player – any help?

I noticed this starts occurring if you edit anything else on your page.
If you delete the soundcloud track and set it again it magically works again.
Until you edit something else on your page again…

Might there be any fix coming for this particular issue? Seems to be the perfect SoundCloud plug-in minus this issue. Thanks.

I am also getting this error. I can add to the page but see the error when viewing regardless it it’s upon the first edit or initial post creation or a resave…it doesnt work

I will look into it, you guys seems to be the only one with the issue and I couldn’t recreate it so far.

Thanks for mentioning it. I wished the WP community was more helpful with finding fixes, most people just complain and leave a 1 star review instead of helping tracking bugs or giving solutions. I guess those people aren’t really developers…

At least the new post vs edit route might help.

People leave one star reviews when support requests take more than six months to be responded to. For me the problem vanished after a soundcloud for gld update.

Free plugin, learn to code if you’re not happy with the free support and updates

    I cannot reproduce the error.

Was the issue fixed with the latest update, like it did for SoundSupplier?

@jakobe75, do you still have this issue? If not, could you review your rating?

    Cheers

    Realtm,

The plugin is great and deserves a 4 or 5 star rating. I would have been happy to assist with troubleshooting at the time. However I had to abandon the use when I encountered this error because it was on a live site. I put in the support request 8 months ago and you hadn’t replied until last week. I understand it is a free plugin and you are not paid for support, so I am not complaining. Though, perhaps you should consider offering a paid support forum so that you are compensated for helping users that are willing to pay. Justin Tadlock, the developer of the Members plugin has really dialed this concept in. But I digress.

The good news is just this week, I installed SCIG on a new site for a band and it works great so far. So not sure what the problem was on the other site.

I’m glad this issue is gone!

I wish I could offer paid support, but unfortunately it’s not about the money, I just don’t have the time to do support. This plugin kind of snowballed from something I wrote for myself to a popular plugin.

    Cheers

    Keep up the good work!
