i am attempting to fully activate the plugin and continually receiving a “site_inaccessible” error message, and a note saying the site is not publicly accessible.

i’ve been able to view the site on several computers/devices (agentnine21.com), have contacted the web host which does not block port 80 or access to wordpress.com, and i have not had this issue with any other site i’ve worked on at the same web host.

i also tried deactivating all plugins except for jetpack, and nothing has worked.

why would jetpack be telling me that my clearly accessible site is inaccessible?

also, based on what i’ve seen in other threads, there have been issues related to access to the xmlrpc.php file. it exists…i’m looking at it via ftp access to my site, so not sure if it needs to be in a certain place in order for jetpack to see it?

Could you try to deactivate your “coming-soon” plugin, and give it another try? It seems to be restricting access to your site at the moment.

If that doesn’t help, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

it wasn’t the coming soon plugin that was interfering, i’d deactivated it yesterday but was able to resolve this issue last night and reactivated it.
    thanks for your response.
