    Sorry but there is not any option to disable comments, but will surely add one in 2.0,

    BTW: you can use a capability editor plugin to remove commenting permission ap_new_comment for a user or role 😉

    @marcinwwwpl,

    If you want to deactivate comments for everyone, the Disable Comments plugin will do that.

    yeah but it will do it everywhere… i already test it and my theme also have this option to disable comments on pages but it’s not work :(, when i try to disable by anspress plugin i have white screen :/ .

    thanks for help anyway !

    That’s not correct. You can specify which post types it will apply to.

    If what you mean is that it will disable comments on every instance of a selected post type, then you’re right.

    Sorry that this doesn’t work for you, but I didn’t want anyone else reading this to be misled.

    Funny thing is if I disable from my theme comments for every single anspress page they are still there it’s like anspress have system which active comments by it own that’s why I can not disable in this plugin. But in asnpress is option to disable comment on dash screen but when I click disable then my webpage is getting “white screen of death “.

    I just have to wait till 2.0 will roll out coz now it’s not so many options. But I will still stick to anspress, coz 2.0 so far shows that it will be worth it 🙂
