• i designed and had our site built by someone else – it’s not a WordPress theme. I update and maintain our site. I’m a designer, not a programmer. I don’t even know what version of WordPress I’m using, but it’s not the latest one. My issue right now is that WordPress keeps adding extra lines of space when I press the update button, regardless of whether or not I take them out from the visual or the html.

I figured out how to control the spacing between rows of images by setting the margin, but cannot figure it out between the text title of the section and the images underneath.

any help would be appreciated, and keep in mind, it’s not a regular WP theme, so any suggestions, I would have to be able to do it from the main editing window, thanks

  • I saw your website. It is based on the twentyeleven theme, but it has been badly hacked. I see that just below “Past Retreats” a lot of unnecessary paragraphs and nbps spring out, it is not a matter of css. Probably the hacked page template adds them when it generates the page, so you will not notice them in the editor.
Only way is to have a look at the template, and eliminate the unnecessary lines.
