• Recently migrated to a new server. The site was relocated to a new URL for testing (test.url.com for example) during the migration process. All was fine…

Updated the IP address, changed the domain in General settings, ran a URL update (velvet blues) and all was fine with the exception of checking out. While the items go to the cart, clicking on “Go to Checkout” with the “fancy notification” simply sends you to the test URL. The actual checkout page does exist and the item goes into the cart.

Clicking Purchase in the cart is also going to the test URL – instead of moving the user on to Paypal.

Searched the database, not coming up with the URL. Tried changing the permalinks – no good.

Where is this information stored and how can we get this to update and redirect correctly?

Updated to v 3.9.1. No help.

  • Hi there,

We had a site migration ourselves as well. Have you checked the .htaccess files to make sure that all the redirection is ok?

    Thank you,
    Ray

Double checked that the migration didn’t pull over any cached urls, computed urls, or content fragments. You need to check WordPress cache, object cache, WP-eCommerce theme cache, transients, and values in the options table.
