    Hi,

I have my groups created and users assigned to the respective groups.

Now, I would like to create a new (Director) user role (that is not an Admin) that will be given access to all groups, without me having to assign a respective user manually to all groups.

I am trying to get it done this way, because in the future when I add a group, I don`t want to have to go back and add every Director user to the new group.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Doing that via a role would be redundant, instead of assigning the user to a group, you would have to assign the user to a role and that wouldn’t spare the assignment step. Also note that if you feel the need to assign them to a role that would cover capabilities of three groups, you effectively have the need for a group that covers those of the three groups, i.e. you’d be looking for a Directors group which you would use instead of the role within the Groups framework.

Good question, I hope that still helps.

    Cheers
