Hello,
It is not a permanent error.
We had a bit of server downtime today, which is part of the reason you faced BP100.
BP100 shows up if you are using a custom login form on your site, and your site is having trouble contacting our API.
Are you able to login now?
To prevent this from happening again, I recommend following the instructions here:
http://bruteprotect.com/faqs/error-bp100/
If that is not feasible for you, unfortunately the only other solution is to deactivate the BruteProtect plugin for the time being.
We are working on improvements for future releases.
Thanks,
Rocco
Hi Roco,
Yes I’m able to login now. I have the code with me but, I don’t know where to put it.
Should I add it to my custom CSS?
I am a rookie and don’t know much about coding. Sorry for the trouble.
Regards
Doyan
Hello Doyan,
You’ll need to edit the template that is generating your custom login form. It may be found in a plugin, or it may be found in your theme. It is difficult for me to advise you further without knowing how your site is generating the form.
I remember what it was like to be a rookie. You can hone your skills and find a lot of great development help in the forums:

If it ends up being too much, you could consider deactivating the plugin. In our next major release, we have a better solution for custom login forms.
Hi,
I got it figured out. Finally!
Thank you
