I made the same test after the last atualization of the plugin and it still doesn’t work. =(
Hi, guys. PMPro runs a script every night at midnight (or there abouts) that expires members whose expiration dates have passed.
So if you change an expiration date during the day, it may take a day for it to process. If you want to expire someone immediately, change their level to “none”.
Further, this expiration relies on the “WP CRON” feature which can be inconsistent on certain hosts or sites with low traffic or sites with lots of caching. Here is an article RE setting up a “better cron” with WordPress.

I made a simple test creating a level with just one day expiration time.
I put all my wordpress in my testing remote site, subscribed this kind of membership level yestarday and today… the user keep viewing the rescricted resouces. 🙁
Also… i need to create a lot of different specific level and i’d like to test it in my local configuration but how can i do that?
Changing the operation system date is not working so there is a trick to resolve it?
Surely i’ll going to get a membership pro account because my project needs a lot of specific help but before do that i need to know if this is the right plugin for me and then i need to see it works.

Hey guys! I made it work!! =)
First I downloaded the “Cron Manager” plugin, then I saw that the Cron Job that expires the members wasn’t there.
I stopped the cache plugin (the author said that this could be the reason of the problem) and reinstalled the Paid Membership Pro Plugin. After that, the Cron Job that expires the members appeared on the list. =)
Since that, I don’t use cache plugin anymore.
