• Hi All,

looking at getting a template to set up a new site – http://themes.goodlayers.com/clevercourse/.

As part of the coursers we are setting up some training material and the guys who are creating the training material asked:

“Does the theme template support input for powerpoint (.ppt) files or for adobe captivate 8 html 5 published files? Or do we have to use their web entry procedures to place the lectures in the website?”

I’m guessing most templates dont support this, but does anyone know if it is possible to handle this with wordpress? Is there coding involved? any plugins or anything I can install to handle this?

    Thanks!

    Robyn

Captivate screates Flash file and some sample HTML just upload the flash file to suitable upload folder, and then add the sample HTML code to the page, via the HTML editor within post/page editor. Change paths to match.

    Done.

    Thanks for that.

I loaded the flash file via FTP as it was too large to load through wordpress (is there a way I can upload really large files through wordpress?).

Then I downloaded a plugin HTML Snippets and copied the code from the HTML file and entered it in there. (Also tired entering in the html in the text area of the page but that didnt work either)

I then put the short code on this page as a test to see if it worked but didnt seem to work.

    Any thoughts?
