Password Protected Entries – Any progress?

same problem here : it works with Explorer, but not with Firefox, and I only use Firefox :-/

nah, just takes some time to get used to the simple interface.

Why isn’t there a moderator, or some sort of a repository, so that solutions/answers from users are more easily made available ?
The issue mentioned here is posted serveral times….
But still no solution / hints ?

I’m in the same situation, but I’m using IE instead of Firefox. . .I know someone mentioned clearing out cookies and temporary files in a previous post. . .I don’t suppose anyone could tell me 1) how to do that; and 2) if that even works.

Yep, I see what you mean. I can actually get mine to appear just like that, but once I type in my password, the page merely refreshes, which I find highly annoying. I took it down for the night (it’s still saved as a draft), because I just couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it, and it’s late so my patience isn’t too great (my site’s at http://layla.nu but as I said, I took down the password-protected entry since it wasn’t working).

In all honesty, a friend installed WordPress for me, because she said Greymatter had some security issues. I really like it, but I really not so wonderful when it comes to tweeking things (like how the right “table” ends up in the wrong place on all the comments pages, heh).

I took a quick look at your site. I really love the design colors (the black with shades of blues). Very lovely.

In previous installs, I used to have that problem. But do not have any problems in 1.5. In the past, I believe it was a cookie issue and if I clicked on the permalink for the post after the page refreshed, I was taken to the entry. Does that work for any of you? I know it may not be ideal but it worked for me at least. Sorry I can’t be of any more help than that.
