• I’m using the Sabre plugin, and so far one user has been blocked.

    The one user, however, has something interesting in the “Errors” column of the log generated by the plugin: “Speedy Gonzales was here.”

    Anybody know if this is a user given value, something Sabre produces, or if there is an exploit in the plugin?

  • It’s just a Sabre’s message stating that the registration was blocked because the “user” was too fast to be honest…
    It means that the time spent by the visitor to fill the registration form during the registration process was below the limit put in the “Speed limit” parameter.
    A program faking a human response being far more rapid than a human with a keyboard, it’s one of the many Sabre’s ways to decide if the visitor is human or not, thus the “Speedy Gonzales” message.
    And there’s nothing to worry about…
