Akismet scans all comments, including those posted by logged-in users. It means that sometimes a logged-in user’s comment will get caught as spam.
This setting stops Akismet from scanning comments if the commenter is logged in – i.e., their comments are always trusted.
It is not a setting available in Akismet itself. This plugin overrides Akismet’s behavior to achieve this.

Hi there,
Really love this plugin π Have been using it for quite some time, and am just now wondering what the “Prevent Akismet from checking logged in users” setting does. I visited the Akismet settings and website and couldn’t find any information on this.
